     Edward Harbord Lushington was born on 29 July 1822.¹ He was the son of Stephen George Lushington and Sarah Grace Carr.² He married Mary Ramsay, daughter of Colonel Michael Ramsay, on 26 November 1848.¹ He died on 29 October 1904 at age 82.¹
     He was with the Bengal Civil Service between 1842 and 1871.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Brackenhurst, Cobham, Surrey, England.¹

     Mary Ramsay was the daughter of Colonel Michael Ramsay.² She married Edward Harbord Lushington, son of Stephen George Lushington and Sarah Grace Carr, on 26 November 1848.¹ She died on 25 February 1895.¹
     From 26 November 1848, her married name became Lushington.

     Lt.-Col. Edward Eardley Lushington was born on 11 February 1850.¹ He was the son of Edward Harbord Lushington and Mary Ramsay.² He married, firstly, Caroline Anna Leslie, daughter of Sir Bradford Leslie, in 1882.¹ He married, secondly, Maria Thomasine Sharpe, daughter of Major T. B. Sharpe, in 1897.¹ He married, thirdly, Adeline Charlotte Gordon, daughter of Alexander Gordon, on 18 January 1921.¹ He died on 17 February 1930 at age 80.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 8th Hussars.¹

     Sir Bradford Leslie was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Star of India (K.C.S.I.)¹

     Caroline Anna Leslie was the daughter of Sir Bradford Leslie.² She married Lt.-Col. Edward Eardley Lushington, son of Edward Harbord Lushington and Mary Ramsay, in 1882.¹ She died in 1884.¹
     From 1882, her married name became Lushington.

     Sidney George Lushington was born on 6 April 1859.¹ He was the son of Edward Harbord Lushington and Mary Ramsay.² He married Georgina Caroline Elizabeth Chippindall Healey, daughter of Captain John Chippindall Healey, on 6 August 1890.¹ He died on 18 August 1909 at age 50.¹
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.¹ He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Law (B.C.L.)¹ He was admitted to Inner Temple entitled to practise as a barrister.¹
