     Elizabeth Boyle was born circa 1807. She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie.¹ She married James Hope, son of Rt. Hon. Charles Hope, Lord Granton and Lady Charlotte Hope, on 2 December 1828.¹ She died on 20 July 1880.¹
     Her married name became Hope.

     Helen Boyle was born circa 1808. She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie.¹ She married Sir Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson of Kilkerran, 5th Bt., son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 4th Bt. and Jean Dalrymple, on 1 June 1829.¹ She died on 26 June 1869.¹
     From 1 June 1829, her married name became Fergusson. From 1838, her married name became Dalrymple-Fergusson.²

     James Hope was born on 28 May 1803.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. Charles Hope, Lord Granton and Lady Charlotte Hope. He married Elizabeth Boyle, daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie, on 2 December 1828.¹ He died on 14 February 1882 at age 78.²
     He was Deputy Keeper of the Signet.²

     Sir Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson of Kilkerran, 5th Bt. was born on 26 August 1800.² He was the son of Sir James Fergusson of Kilkerran, 4th Bt. and Jean Dalrymple.² He married Helen Boyle, daughter of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Elizabeth Montgomerie, on 1 June 1829.¹ He died on 18 March 1849 at age 48.²
     He was given the name of Charles Fergusson at birth.² In 1838 his name was legally changed to Charles Dalrymple-Fergusson on inheriting the Newhailes estate from his aunt Christian Dalrymple.² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Fergusson, of Kilkerran [N.S., 1703] on 14 April 1838.² He added the Drummellan estate to Kilkerran.²

     Catherine Campbell Smythe was the daughter of David Smythe, Lord Methven and Euphemia Aemilia Murray.^1,2 She married Rt. Hon. David Boyle, son of Reverend Patrick Boyle and Elizabeth Dunlop, on 17 July 1827.¹ She died on 25 December 1880.¹
     Her married name became Boyle.

     David Smythe, Lord Methven was born on 17 January 1746.¹ He was the son of David Smythe, 9th of Braco, 3rd of Methven Castle and Mary Graham.¹ He married, firstly, Elizabeth Murray, daughter of Sir Robert Murray of Dunerne, 6th Bt. and Hon. Janet Murray, on 8 April 1772.¹ He married, secondly, Euphemia Aemilia Murray, daughter of Mungo Murray and Cecilia Lyon, on 2 August 1794.¹ He died on 30 January 1806 at age 60.¹
     He held the office of Lord of Session.² He was styled as Lord Methven [Scottish Law Lord].¹ He lived at Methven, Perthshire, Scotland^G.²

     Very Rev. George David Boyle was born on 17 May 1828.¹ He was the son of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Catherine Campbell Smythe.¹ He married Mary Christiana Robins, daughter of William Robins, on 7 January 1861.¹ He died on 21 March 1901 at age 72, without issue.¹
     He graduated from Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He held the office of Dean of Salisbury.¹ He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.²
     

     Mary Christiana Robins was the daughter of William Robins.¹ She married Very Rev. George David Boyle, son of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Catherine Campbell Smythe, on 7 January 1861.¹ She died on 7 January 1907.¹
     Her married name became Boyle.

     William Robins lived at Hagley, England^G.¹

     Captain Robert Boyle was born on 2 December 1830.² He was the son of Rt. Hon. David Boyle and Catherine Campbell Smythe.² He married Frances Sydney Fremoult Sankey, daughter of Francis Fremoult Sankey, on 9 July 1856.² He died on 29 August 1869 at age 38.²
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.¹
