     Elizabeth Grace Ferguson was the daughter of Robert Ferguson.¹ She married Robert George Petre, son of Hon. Henry William Petre and Mary Ann Eleanor Walmesley, on 1 March 1892.¹ She died in February 1937.¹
     Her married name became Petre.

     Robert Ferguson lived at Southbridge, Canterbury, New Zealand.¹

     Robert John Petre was born in 1894.¹ He was the son of Robert George Petre and Elizabeth Grace Ferguson.¹ He died in 1915, killed in action.¹
     He fought in the First World War.¹ He gained the rank of officer in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force.¹

     Francis William Petre was born in 1902.¹ He was the son of Robert George Petre and Elizabeth Grace Ferguson.¹ He married, firstly, Gertrude Fey Wright, daughter of Philip Lowry Wright, on 6 April 1932.¹ He and Gertrude Fey Wright were divorced in 1944.¹ He married, secondly, Athalie Millicent Eaton, daughter of Albert henry Eaton, on 21 August 1947.¹

     Gertrude Fey Wright is the daughter of Philip Lowry Wright.¹ She married Francis William Petre, son of Robert George Petre and Elizabeth Grace Ferguson, on 6 April 1932.¹ She and Francis William Petre were divorced in 1944.¹
     Her married name became Petre.

     Philip Lowry Wright lived at Bicton, Napier, New Zealand^G.¹

     John Lowrey Petre was born on 18 June 1934.¹ He is the son of Francis William Petre and Gertrude Fey Wright.¹ He married Susan Helen Durrant, daughter of Edwin Thomas Durrant, on 28 August 1962.¹

     Hon. Edwin Berkeley Portman was born on 3 August 1830 at Bryanston, Dorset, England.¹ He was the son of Edward Berkley Portman, 1st Viscount Portman of Bryanston and Lady Emma Lascelles.¹ He married Caroline Ella Chapman, daughter of David Ward Chapman, on 14 May 1887.² He died on 27 April 1921 at age 90.¹
     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)¹ He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Bachelor of Civil Law (B.C.L.)² He was admitted to Inner Temple in 1852 entitled to practise as a barrister.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for North Dorset between 1885 and 1892.¹
