     Harry Fearnley Kirkpatrick was born on 8 January 1876.¹ He was the son of Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 8th Bt. and Mary Steward Fearnley.² He married Clara Agnes Alexander, daughter of J. W. Alexander, on 15 December 1914.¹ He died on 27 April 1918 at age 42, on active service.¹
     He gained the rank of Temporary Lieutenant in the Royal Naval Division.¹ He fought in the North-West Frontier.¹ He fought in the Somaliland Campaign between 1908 and 1910.¹ He fought in the First World War, and he was mentioned in despatches three time.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1918.¹

     J. W. Alexander lived at Indore, India.¹ He was in the Indian Civil Service.¹

     Clara Agnes Alexander was the daughter of J. W. Alexander.² She married Harry Fearnley Kirkpatrick, son of Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 8th Bt. and Mary Steward Fearnley, on 15 December 1914.¹ She died on 8 February 1952.¹
     From 15 December 1914, her married name became Kirkpatrick.

     Yvone Alexander Kirkpatrick was born on 8 April 1916.¹ He was the son of Harry Fearnley Kirkpatrick and Clara Agnes Alexander.² He died on 26 January 1932 at age 15.¹

     Sir James Alexander Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 10th Bt. was born on 24 October 1918.¹ He was the son of Harry Fearnley Kirkpatrick and Clara Agnes Alexander.² He married Ellen Gertrude Elliott, daughter of Captain Robert Perceval Elliott, on 2 August 1941.¹ He and Ellen Gertrude Elliott were divorced in 1953.¹ He died on 3 April 1954 at age 35.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Kirkpatrick, of Closeburn [N.S., 1685] on 2 January 1937.¹ He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He was an Assistant Game Warden at Kenya.¹

     Yvone Kirkpatrick was born on 18 February 1879.¹ He was the son of Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 8th Bt. and Mary Steward Fearnley.² He married Dorothy Barker, daughter of Montague C. Barker and Eva Jane (?), on 9 June 1917.¹ He died on 31 March 1924 at age 45.¹
     He was with the Political Service, Nigeria.¹

     Montague C. Barker was born circa 1839 at St. Pancras, London, England.² He married Eva Jane (?)²
     He lived at Hampton Wick, Surrey, England.¹

     Dorothy Barker was born circa 1883 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Montague C. Barker and Eva Jane (?)^3,2 She married Yvone Kirkpatrick, son of Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 8th Bt. and Mary Steward Fearnley, on 9 June 1917.¹ She died on 4 May 1972.¹
     From 9 June 1917, her married name became Kirkpatrick.

     Athol Kirkpatrick was born on 20 September 1885.¹ He was the son of Sir James Kirkpatrick of Closeburn, 8th Bt. and Mary Steward Fearnley.² He married Ada Florence Allen, daughter of Alfred H. Allen, in 1914.¹ He died in 1917 at France, missing, presumed killed in action.²
     He fought in the First World War.¹

     Alfred H. Allen lived at Sheffield, Yorkshire, England.¹
