     He gained the rank of Major in the Royal Horse Artillery.³

     Susan Mitchelson was born in 1834 at Borthwick, East Lothian, Scotland.¹ She was the daughter of Archibald Hepbourne Mitchelson of Middleton.¹ She married Allan Duncan Stewart.¹ She died on 29 December 1883 at Philbeach Gardens, London, England.¹

     He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.¹

Dame Felicity Hyde Watts was born on 1 May 1913.² She was the daughter of Colonel Humphrey Watts.³ She married, firstly, P/O John Charles Mackenzie Hanbury, son of John Mackenzie Hanbury and Christine Gibson Colston, in 1935 at Westminster, London, England^G.¹ She married, secondly, Sir Harald Peake, son of Major George Herbert Peake and Evelyn Mary Dundas, on 24 June 1952 at Westminster, London, England.⁴ She died on 2 November 2002 at age 89 at Kensington, London, England.⁴
     From 1935, her married name became Hanbury.¹ She gained the rank of Flight Officer in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force.¹ She was awarded the Air Efficiency Award (A.E.)⁴ She was appointed Dame Commander, Order of the British Empire (D.B.E.) in 1949.⁴ From 24 June 1952, her married name became Peake. She held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)⁴

     David Theophilus Hanbury was born on 8 March 1864 at England.¹ He was the son of Charles Addington Hanbury and Christine Isabella Mackenzie.¹ He married Marie Eleanor Mansfield on 23 May 1906.¹ He died on 26 October 1910 at age 46 at White Sulphur Springs, Grenbriar County, West Virginia, U.S.A.^G.¹
     He was a geographer and writer.¹
