     George Gould Morgan was born on 12 July 1794.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir Charles Morgan, 2nd Bt. and Mary Margaret Stoney.1 He married Eliza Beville, daughter of Reverend William Beville, on 7 July 1824.1 He died on 25 August 1845 at age 51.1
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Brecon.1
