     Sir Thomas James Dixon, 2nd Bt. was born on 29 May 1868.1 He was the son of Rt. Hon. Sir Daniel Dixon, 1st Bt. and Eliza Agnew.1 He married Edith Stewart Clark, daughter of Stewart Clark and Annie Smiley, on 7 February 1906.1 He died on 10 May 1950 at age 81, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Dixon [U.K., 1903] on 10 March 1907.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1912.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Down in 1913.1 He held the office of HM Lieutenant of County Belfast between 1924 and 1950.1 He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Northern Ireland] on 25 August 1930.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Antrim.1 He held the office of Senator [Northern Ireland].1
