He married Isabelle Gabrielle Marie Emmanuel Mathilde Jeanne Gaetane Ghislane Prinzessin von Croÿ, daughter of Emmanuel Marie Joseph Pierre Gerard Prinz von Croÿ and Countess Nicole de Marnix de Saint Aldegonde, on 1 March 1968. Wolfgang and Isabelle Gabrielle Marie Emmanuel Mathilde Jeanne Gaetane Ghislane were also married in a religious ceremony on 14 March 1968 at Rumillies^G.
     He gained the title of Comte d’Ursel.

She is the daughter of Emmanuel Marie Joseph Pierre Gerard Prinz von Croÿ and Countess Nicole de Marnix de Saint Aldegonde. She married Prince Adrien de Merode on 25 August 1971 in a civil marriage. Marie Gabrielle Gaetane Therese Nicole Ghislane and Adrien were also married in a religious ceremony on 3 September 1971.
     Her married name became de Merode.

     Prince Adrien de Merode was born on 16 April 1946 at Woking, Surrey, England^G. He married Marie Gabrielle Gaetane Therese Nicole Ghislane Prinzessin von Croÿ, daughter of Emmanuel Marie Joseph Pierre Gerard Prinz von Croÿ and Countess Nicole de Marnix de Saint Aldegonde, on 25 August 1971 in a civil marriage. Adrien and Marie Gabrielle Gaetane Therese Nicole Ghislane were also married in a religious ceremony on 3 September 1971.

     Jean Marie Ignace Joseph Gerard Prinz von Croÿ was born on 8 October 1910 at Rumillies^G. He was the son of Charles Joseph Henri Marie Prinz von Croÿ and Comtesse Mathilde de Robiano. He died on 25 April 1990 at age 79 at Rumillies^G.

     Auguste Luise Marie Prinzessin zu Salm-Salm was born on 29 January 1798. She was the daughter of Konstantin Alexander Joseph Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Maria Walburga Gräfin von Sternberg-Manderscheid. She died on 20 March 1837 at age 39.
