     Hugh Montgomery Campbell was born on 28 February 1919.2 He was the son of Rt. Rev. Rt. Hon. Henry Colville Montgomery Campbell.3 He married Hon. Mary Adderley, daughter of Hubert Bowyer Arden Adderley, 6th Baron Norton and Elizabeth Birkbeck, on 7 July 1950.1 He died on 19 August 1980 at age 61 at London, England.1,2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Artillery.1 He fought in the Second World War.1
