     Hon. Mary Adderley was born on 8 September 1922.¹ She was the daughter of Hubert Bowyer Arden Adderley, 6th Baron Norton and Elizabeth Birkbeck.² She married Hugh Montgomery Campbell, son of Rt. Rev. Rt. Hon. Henry Colville Montgomery Campbell, on 7 July 1950.¹ She died on 30 January 2019 at age 96.³
     She was 3rd Officer in the Women’s Royal Naval Service during the Second World War.¹ From 7 July 1950, her married name became Montgomery Campbell.
