     Hope Maclean was born in 1888.² She was the daughter of William Maclean and Sara Dunn Holms.² She married, firstly, Ronald Travis Townsend, son of Joseph Townsend and Lucy Mabel Hill, in 1914.¹ She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. George Rockfort Grange, son of Dr. William D’Oyly Grange and Lucy Burness, in 1921.² She died in 1947.²
     From 1914, her married name became Townsend.¹ From 1921, her married name became Grange.²

     Dudley Thompson married Jane Stawell, daughter of Anthony Stawell.¹

     Brig.-Gen. John James Francis Hume was born on 7 February 1858 at Nainl Tal, India.² He was the son of Maj.-Gen. John James Hume and Mary Hansbrow.² He was baptised on 10 March 1858 at Nynee Tal, Bengal, India.² He married Ethel Pagden, daughter of Elgar Pagden and Margaret Bellhouse, in 1882.² He died on 10 November 1935 at age 77.²
     He fought in the Zulu Wars between 1879 and 1881.² He fought in the First Boer War between 1880 and 1881, where he was ganderously wounded and was mentioned in despatches.² He was Officer in Charge of the Welsh Border Infantry Brigade in 1910.² He gained the rank of Brigadier-General in 1914.² He gained the rank of Commander between 1914 and 1917 in the 160th and 170th Infantry Brigades.² He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1917.² He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1916.²

     Edward Willoughby Feltrim Fagan was born on 5 July 1986.¹ He is the son of John Willoughby Feltrim Fagan and Susan Ann Hume.¹ He married Alexandra Katherine Rees, daughter of Hugh Rees and Elizabeth Calder, on 30 July 2016.¹
