     Major Henry Horace Frederick Fagan was born on 9 April 1858.¹ He was the son of Christopher Sullivan Fagan and Ellen Denny.² He married Adela Beatrice Denny, daughter of Edward Maynard Denny, on 10 August 1893.¹ He died on 1 January 1940 at age 81.¹

     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Somerset Light Infantry.¹ He gained the rank of Flight Lieutenant in the Royal Air Force.¹
