Richard Molyneux, 1st Viscount Molyneux1

     Richard Molyneux, 1st Viscount Molyneux was baptised on 21 February 1593/94. He was the son of Sir Richard Molyneux, 1st Bt. and Frances Gerard.1 He married, firstly, Fleetwood Barton, daughter of Richard Barton, on 5 September 1599. He and Fleetwood Barton were divorced in 1607/8. He married, secondly, Mary Caryll, daughter of Thomas Caryll and Mary Tufton, after 7 December 1614.1 He died on 8 May 1636 at age 42.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Molyneux, of Sefton, Lancashire [E., 1611] on 8 February 1622/23.1 He was created 1st Viscount Molyneux, of Maryborough in the Queen’s County [Ireland] on 22 December 1628.1

     Sir Edward Mostyn, 1st Bt. was born circa 1628.2 He was the son of John Mostyn and Anne Fox.1,2 He married, firstly, Elizabeth Downes, daughter of Robert Downes.2 He married, thirdly, Hon. Mary Molyneux, daughter of Richard Molyneux, 1st Viscount Molyneux and Mary Caryll.2 He married, secondly, Eleanor Draycott, daughter of Francis Draycott.2 He died on 3 November 1706.2
     He was created 1st Baronet Mostyn, of Talacre, co. Flint [England] on 28 April 1670.2
