     Basil de Forest Osmaston was born on 31 December 1862.¹ He was the son of John Osmaston and Florence Mary Rice.¹ He died on 25 November 1943 at age 80.¹

     Colonel Cecil Alvend FitzHerbert Osmaston was born on 24 July 1866.¹ He was the son of John Osmaston and Florence Mary Rice.¹ He married Minnie Buckley Tuson, daughter of General Sir Henry Brasnell Tuson and Anne Frances Bates, on 2 February 1893.¹ He died on 14 August 1949 at age 83.¹
     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1918.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1916.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1919.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel in the Royal Marines Artillery.¹

     Minnie Buckley Tuson was born in 1868.² She was the daughter of General Sir Henry Brasnell Tuson and Anne Frances Bates.^1,2 She married Colonel Cecil Alvend FitzHerbert Osmaston, son of John Osmaston and Florence Mary Rice, on 2 February 1893.¹ She died in 1955.²
     From 2 February 1893, her married name became Osmaston.¹ She lived in 1952 at Mockbeggars, Fittleworth, Sussex, England^G.¹

     General Sir Henry Brasnell Tuson was born on 30 April 1836 at Boulogne, France.² He married Anne Frances Bates in 1864.² He died on 21 December 1916 at age 80.²
     He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He gained the rank of General in the Royal Marines Artillery.¹

     Lionel Cecil Osmaston was born on 29 April 1901 at Sligo, County Sligo, Ireland.^1,2 He was the son of Colonel Cecil Alvend FitzHerbert Osmaston and Minnie Buckley Tuson.¹ He married Elizabeth Lillian Arkwright, daughter of Alan Joseph Arkwright and Madeline Snape, on 26 January 1929.¹ He died on 30 July 1979 at age 78 at Chichester, Sussex, England.²
     He was educated at Portsmouth Grammar School, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England^G.¹ He lived in 1952 at Balchins, Wisboorugh Green, Sussex, England^G.¹

     Elizabeth Lillian Arkwright was born in 1905.² She was the daughter of Alan Joseph Arkwright and Madeline Snape.^1,3 She married Lionel Cecil Osmaston, son of Colonel Cecil Alvend FitzHerbert Osmaston and Minnie Buckley Tuson, on 26 January 1929.¹
     From 26 January 1929, her married name became Osmaston.¹

     Alan Joseph Arkwright was born in 1875.² He was the son of Charles Arkwright and Honoria Hartopp.² He married Madeline Snape in 1903.² He died in 1934.³
