     Venerable Augustine John de Clare Studdert was born on 31 January 1901.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas de Clare Studdert and Rosamond Clemson.² He married Marjorie Joyce Chettle, daughter of Ernest Arthur Chettle, on 22 April 1936.¹ He died on 20 March 1972 at age 71.¹
