Alfred Theodore Stanley Studdert was born on 2 March 1905.¹ He was the son of Reverend Thomas de Clare Studdert and Rosamond Clemson.² He married Elizabeth Lenore Peniston, daughter of Leonard St. George Peniston, on 2 April 1938.¹ He died in December 1996 at age 91 at Poole, Dorset, England.³
     He was educated at The Abbey School, Tipperary, County Tipperary, Ireland^G.¹ He gained the rank of Flying Officer between 1924 and 1929 in the Royal Air Force.¹ He fought in the Second World War.¹ He became an unknown person ‘s adoptive father.¹ He retired from the military in 1947, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel, late of the Bombay Grenadiers.¹ He was Provincial Administrator for Northern Rhodesia in 1952.¹ He lived in 1976 at El Pavon, Lanzarote, Canary Islands.¹

     Leonard St. George Peniston lived at Farningham, Mooi River, Natal, South Africa.¹

     Elizabeth Lenore Peniston is the daughter of Leonard St. George Peniston.² She married Lt.-Col. Alfred Theodore Stanley Studdert, son of Reverend Thomas de Clare Studdert and Rosamond Clemson, on 2 April 1938.¹
     From 2 April 1938, her married name became Studdert.

     Atholl Mercer Studdert was born on 15 January 1932.¹ He is the son of Lt.-Col. Alfred Theodore Stanley Studdert and Elizabeth Lenore Peniston.² He married June Marie Niemeyer, daughter of E. C. Niemeyer, on 21 April 1956.¹
     He was adopted by an unknown person.¹ He was educated at Bradfield College, Bradfield, Reading, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He graduated from Stellenbosch University, Stellenbosch, Cape Province, South Africa^G, in 1953 with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)¹ He was with the Colonial Administration Service of Northern Rhodesia.¹

     Elizabeth Hipkin was born circa 1871 at Newark, Nottinghamshire, England^G.¹ She married Lt.-Col. Davy Turner Belding, son of Davy Turner Belding and Rachel Esther Bale, in 1894 at Docking, Norfolk, England^G.^1,2 She died in 1949 at Warwick, Warwickshire, England^G.^1,2
