     Harriet Elizabeth Holdaway was born circa 1843.² She was the daughter of John Holdaway.³ She married Henry Stratford Persse, son of Robert Dudley Persse and Mary Fanny Whistler, on 9 May 1867 at Lambeth, Surrey, England.^1,2 She died in 1911 at St. Leonards, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.²
     From 9 May 1867, her married name became Persse.

     Amy Elizabeth Persse was born on 16 August 1867 at Brixton, London, England.² She was the daughter of Henry Stratford Persse and Harriet Elizabeth Holdaway.³ She was baptised on 9 July 1869 at St. John the Evangelist, Lambeth, Surrey, England.² She died in 1923 at Mosman, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.²
