     Peter Andrew Carnegie Sherman was born on 2 June 1978.¹ He is the son of John Sherman and Alexandra Susan Anne Carnegie.¹

     Lt.-Col. Dudley Gordon de Chair was born on 2 August 1944.² He is the son of Commander Henry Graham Dudley de Chair and Patricia Annette Maud Gertrude Gordon Ramsey.^1,2 He married Susan Katherine Maud Carnegie, daughter of Major Raymond Alexander Carnegie and Patricia Elinor Trevor Dawson, in January 1968.¹
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 5th Royal Inskilling Dragoon Guards.¹ He lived at Tulloch, Inverness-shire, Scotland.³

     Commander Henry Graham Dudley de Chair was born on 10 September 1905.² He was the son of Admiral Sir Dudley Rawson Stratford de Chair and Enid Struben.² He married, firstly, Patricia Annette Maud Gertrude Gordon Ramsey, daughter of Admiral Sir Charles Gordon Ramsey, on 12 December 1936.² He died on 5 January 1995 at age 89.³
     He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross (D.S.C.)¹

     Natasha Alexandra de Chair was born on 29 June 1971.¹ She is the daughter of Lt.-Col. Dudley Gordon de Chair and Susan Katherine Maud Carnegie.¹ She married William Bertram Ramsay, son of Maj.-Gen. Charles Alexander Ramsay and Hon. Mary Margaret Hastings MacAndrew, on 5 July 1997.²
     From 5 July 1997, her married name became Ramsay.³

     Major Rupert Edward Harding-Newman was born on 3 December 1942.² He is the son of Brigadier Rupert Norton Harding-Newman and Kathleen Muriel Scale.² He married Susan Katherine Maud Carnegie, daughter of Major Raymond Alexander Carnegie and Patricia Elinor Trevor Dawson, on 11 December 1974.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the 4th/7th Dragoon Guards.¹ Major Rupert Edward Harding-Newman usually went by his middle name of Edward.¹ He was appointed Member, Order of the British Empire (M.B.E.)¹
