     Margaret Macaulay was born on 31 January 1812 at Clapham, Surrey, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Zachary Macaulay and Selina Anne Mills.¹ She married Edward Cropper, son of James Cropper and Mary Brinsdon, in 1832.² She died in 1834.¹

     Philip Henchman Bolus was born in June 1891 at Lewisham, Kent, England^G.^1,2,3,4 He was the son of Walter Bolus and Augusta M Hewitt.⁴ He married, firstly, Olive M. Molly Torin in 1918 at Kingston, Surrey, England^G.⁴ He married, secondly, Violet Maud Aspinall, daughter of General Cecil Faber Aspinall and Frances Maud Huth, in September 1929 at St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.⁴ He died in 1936.⁴
