     Caroline Augusta Cornwall was born on 21 April 1833 at Ozleworth, Gloucestershire, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Reverend Alan Gardner Cornwall and Caroline Marianne Kingscote.¹ She married John Charles Bengough, son of George Bengough and Anne Carpenter, on 9 June 1857.¹ She died on 7 April 1899 at age 65 at Poole, Dorset, England^G.¹
     From 9 June 1857, her married name became Bengough.¹
