Sir John Gilmour of Lundin and Montrave, 2nd Bt. and Mary Louise Lambert.3 He married Ursula Mabyn Wills, daughter of Frank Oliver Wills, on 24 May 1941.3 He died on 1 June 2007 at age 94.4

(Conservative) for East Fife between 1961 and 1979.3 He held the office of Captain of the Royal Company of Archers.3 He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in 1971 in the Highland Yeomanry, Royal Armourerd Corps.3 He held the office of Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Fife between 1979 and 1980.3 He held the office of Lord-Lieutenant of Fife between 1980 and 1987.3 He held the office of Lord High Commissioner of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland between 1982 and 1983.3 He lived in 2003 at Montrave, Leven, Fife, ScotlandG.3
