     Sir William Forbes of Pitsligo, 7th Bt. was born on 21 December 1773 at Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2 He was the son of Sir William Forbes of Monymusk, 6th Bt. and Elizabeth Hay.3,2 He married Williamina Stuart, daughter of Sir John Wishart Stuart of Fettercairn, 4th Bt. and Lady Jane Leslie, on 19 January 1797.3 He died on 24 October 1828 at age 54.2
     He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Forbes, of Monymusk, Aberdeenshire [N.S., 1626] on 12 November 1806.2 He lived at Cannan Park, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.2

     Sir John Hay, 5th Bt. was born on 15 January 1755.2 He was the son of Sir James Hay, 4th Bt. and Dorriel Campbell.3 He married Hon. Mary Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of James Forbes, 16th Lord Forbes and Catherine Innes, on 9 July 1785.4 He died on 23 May 1830 at age 75.2
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Hay, of Smithfield, co. Peebles [N.S., 1635] on 21 October 1810.2 He lived at Hayston, Peebles, Peebles-shire, ScotlandG.4
