     Sir John Wishart Stuart of Fettercairn, 4th Bt. is the son of William Belshes of Tofts and Emilia Stuart Belshes, 3rd Bt.2 He married Lady Jane Leslie, daughter of David Leslie, 8th Earl of Leven and Wilhelmina Nisbet, on 9 November 1775.3
     He was given the name of John Wishart Belshes-Wishart at birth.1 He was also known as 4th Baronet Wishart.3
