     Ann Charlotte White was the daughter of Dr. J. White. She married Sir Hector Maclean Hay of Alderston, 7th Bt., son of Sir James Douglas Hamilton Hay of Alderston, 6th Bt. and Jane Sanders, on 9 February 1852.1 She died on 24 July 1888.1
     She was and widow of Lieutenant-Colonel William Charles Lewis Bird.1 She was in the Honourable East India Company Service.1 Her married name became Hay. 17th Light Dragoons.1

     William Thomas Hay was born on 20 August 1822.1 He was the son of Sir James Douglas Hamilton Hay of Alderston, 6th Bt. and Jane Sanders.1 He married Isabella Charles, daughter of Robert Charles, on 29 November 1860.1 He died on 15 September 1886 at age 64.1
