Lt.-Col. Harry Stephen Bagnall was born on 26 December 1890 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.2 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Thomas Nock Bagnall and Katharine Henrietta Hendley.2 He married Marjory May Briggs, daughter of Harold James Harold Briggs and Jessie May Veevers, on 27 April 1926 at Bangalore, Madras, India.2 He died in 1970 at Battle, Sussex, England.2
