Hon. Sir John Vaughan and Hon. Augusta St. John, on 4 May 1831.¹ He married, secondly, Sarah Jane Haywood, daughter of G. Haywood, on 23 July 1859.¹ He died on 13 December 1877.¹
     He graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)¹ He was Physician-in-Ordinary for the Royal Household.¹ He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Physicians, London (F.R.C.P.)² He lived in 1861 at 18 Bolton Street, St. George Hanover Square, London, England^G.²

     Her married name became Edwards.¹

     Hester Vaughan was born in 1811 at London, England.² She was the daughter of Rt. Hon. Sir John Vaughan and Hon. Augusta St. John.³ She married Francis Hawkins, son of Reverend Edward Hawkins and Margaret Howes, on 4 May 1831.¹ She died on 11 December 1847.¹
     From 4 May 1831, her married name became Hawkins.

     Reverend Charles Halford Hawkins was born in 1838 at London, England.¹ He was the son of Francis Hawkins and Hester Vaughan.² He married Susan Haughton, daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Colpoys Haughton, on 8 August 1878.¹ He died on 28 December 1900.¹
     He graduated from Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Lt.-Gen. John Colpoys Haughton was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹

     Susan Haughton was the daughter of Lt.-Gen. John Colpoys Haughton.² She married Reverend Charles Halford Hawkins, son of Francis Hawkins and Hester Vaughan, on 8 August 1878.¹ She died on 31 January 1905.¹
     From 8 August 1878, her married name became Hawkins.

     Henry Vaughan Hawkins was born on 7 October 1879.¹ He was the son of Reverend Charles Halford Hawkins and Susan Haughton.² He married Mary Mackenzie Downie, daughter of Alexander Francis Mackenzie Downie, on 17 May 1906.¹ He died on 16 January 1940 at age 60.¹
     He was with the Sudan Civil Service.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Nile 3rd Class.¹ He was awarded the Order of the Medjidie 4th Class.¹
