He was chief mourner at funeral of his kinsman, George Washington.1 He lived at Mount Eagle, Cameron, Virginia, U.S.A.G.2 He was ordained in 1789.2 He was a Loyalist during the American War of Independence.2 He succeeded as the 8th Lord Fairfax of Cameron [S., 1627] on 15 July 1793.1 On 6 May 1800 his right to his title was confirmed by the House of Lords.1
