He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.2 He fought in the Second World War.2 He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.1 He was a director of Hill Samuel between 1962 and 1978.2 He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Bowman, of Holmbury St. Mary, co. Surrey [U.K., 1884] on 16 August 1994.2 On his death, his title became extinct.2

Sir Harold Alfred MacMichael was born in 1882.3 He was the son of Reverend Charles MacMichael and Hon. Sophia Caroline Curzon.3 He married Agnes De Sivrac Edith Stephens, daughter of Reverend John Otter Stephens and Emma Charlotte Leslie-Melville.3 He died in 1969.3
He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.)4 He lived at Folkstowe, EnglandG.4 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of St. Michael and St. George (G.C.M.G.)4

Mary Walters1

Mary Walters was born illegitimately in 1655/56.3,4 She was born on 6 May 1651 at The Hague, The Netherlands.1 She was the daughter of Charles II Stuart, King of Great Britain and Lucy Walter. She married, firstly, William Sarsfield, son of Patrick Sarsfield, in 1670.5 She married, secondly, William Fanshaw, son of John Fanshaw, circa 1676.6 She died in April 1693.3
She was also known as Mary Stuart.5 From 1670, her married name became Sarsfield.5 From circa 1676, her married name became Fanshaw.6 Her paternity is in question, as she claimed it was King Charles II (which he refused to acknowledge), but Burkes Peerage states that it may have been Henry Bennet, 1st Earl of Arlington.3
