Edward Chevers, 1st and last Viscount Mount Leinster1 
He gained the rank of officer in the Irish Army.1 He was created 1st Viscount Mount Leinster, co. Carlow [Ireland] on 23 August 1689.2 He was created 1st Baron Bannow, co. Wexford [Ireland] on 23 August 1689.2 He fought in the Battle of the Boyne in 1690, as Aide-de-Camp to King James II.1 Although he was included in the Articles of Limerick (principally engineered by his brother-in-law Lord Lucan), he relinquished the benefits of the capitulation and accompanied his sovereign into exile.1 On his death, his titles became extinct.2
