Archibald Gordon Rainsford-Hannay and Muriel Eskine Austin, on 7 January 1950.¹

     John Dollin Bassett was born on 15 January 1952.¹ He is the son of Anthony Francis Germon Marshall Bassett and Joan Margaret Rainsford-Hannay.²
     He was educated at Edinburgh University, Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland^G.¹ He was educated at Magdalen College School, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹

     Sally Marshall Bassett was born on 22 September 1953.¹ He is the son of Anthony Francis Germon Marshall Bassett and Joan Margaret Rainsford-Hannay.²

     Ramsay Rainsford-Hannay was born on 29 April 1884.¹ He was the son of Colonel Ramsay William Rainsford-Hannay of Kirkdale and Helen Jane Brancker.² He died on 11 February 1917 at age 32 at Mesopotamia^G, killed in action.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Captain in the Indian Army (45th Sikhs.)¹ He fought in the North-West Frontier Campaign.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹

     Major Donald Rainsford-Hannay was born on 16 October 1885.¹ He was the son of Colonel Ramsay William Rainsford-Hannay of Kirkdale and Helen Jane Brancker.² He married Gladys Woodlock, daughter of John Woodlock, in 1920.¹ He died in December 1947 at age 62.¹
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.¹ He gained the rank of Major in the 53rd Sikhs, Indian Army.¹ He fought in the Mohmand and Afridi Campaigns in 1908.¹ He fought in the First World War, and was wounded at Loos.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He was in the service of the Maharajahs of Jhind and Jodhpur between 1932 and 1947.¹

     Gladys Woodlock is the daughter of John Woodlock.² She married Major Donald Rainsford-Hannay, son of Colonel Ramsay William Rainsford-Hannay of Kirkdale and Helen Jane Brancker, in 1920.¹
     From 1920, her married name became Rainsford-Hannay.

     Mary Rainsford-Hannay was the daughter of Colonel Ramsay William Rainsford-Hannay of Kirkdale and Helen Jane Brancker.² She married Edward Adam Cliff McCulloch, son of William Cliff McCulloch, on 20 May 1913.¹ She died on 22 June 1938.¹
     From 20 May 1913, her married name became McCulloch.

     William Cliff McCulloch lived at Liverpool, Lancashire, England^G.¹

     Edward Adam Cliff McCulloch was the son of William Cliff McCulloch.² He married Mary Rainsford-Hannay, daughter of Colonel Ramsay William Rainsford-Hannay of Kirkdale and Helen Jane Brancker, on 20 May 1913.¹ He died in September 1915.¹
     He gained the rank of at Kindar House, New Abbey, Dumfries-shire, Scotland^G.¹
