     Sir Henry John Hall of Dunglass, 8th Bt. was born on 26 September 1835.¹ He was the son of Sir John Hall of Dunglass, 5th Bt. and Julia Walker.² He died on 25 March 1913 at age 77, unmarried.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 13 January 1909.¹

     Henry Thomas Mathew was born in 1908 at New Zealand^G.¹ He is the son of Thomas James Mathew and Jessie Helen Winifred Forbes.¹

     Joseph Arthur Forbes was born in 1881 at New Zealand^G.¹ He was the son of Arthur St. George Forbes and Anne Laurence Ryan.¹

     Alice Dolman married, firstly, Richard Simm.¹ She married, secondly, Arthur St. George Forbes, son of Hugh Forbes and Agnes Morgan, in 1894.¹
     Her married name became Simm.¹ From 1894, her married name became Forbes.¹

     Sir John Richard Hall of Dunglass, 9th Bt. was born on 14 November 1865.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Julian Hamilton Hall and Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle.² He married Sophia Mary Oliver, daughter of Henry Duncan, on 1 January 1903.¹ He died on 15 February 1928 at age 62, without issue.¹
     He gained the rank of Major in the Coldstream Guards.² He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Irish Guards.¹ He wrote the book The Coldstream Guards in the Boer War.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 25 March 1913.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹

     Sophia Mary Oliver was the daughter of Henry Duncan.² She married, firstly, Captain Spencer Alwyne Oliver.¹ She married, secondly, Sir John Richard Hall of Dunglass, 9th Bt., son of Lt.-Gen. Julian Hamilton Hall and Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle, on 1 January 1903.¹ She died on 30 March 1952.¹
     From 1 January 1903, her married name became Hall.

     Richard Simm married Alice Dolman.¹

     Kitty Forbes was born on 7 October 1896 at New Zealand^G.¹ She was the daughter of Arthur St. George Forbes and Alice Dolman.¹

     Sir Martin Julian Hall of Dunglass, 10th Bt. was born on 23 March 1874.¹ He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Julian Hamilton Hall and Augusta Wilhelmina Louisa Fremantle.² He married Alice Mary Hasler, daughter of William Wyndham Hasler and Selina Sarah Hervey, on 9 December 1905.¹ He died on 31 January 1958 at age 83.¹
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was with the Bechuanaland Civil Service.¹ He was Chief Reconstruction Officer Scotland, Ministry of Labour.¹ He was Director of Food Section, Ministry of Munitions during the First World War.¹ He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1918.¹ He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Hall, of Dunglass [N.S., 1687] on 15 February 1928.¹
