Most Rev. Hon. Frederick Cornwallis was born on 22 February 1712 at 14 Leicester Square, London, EnglandG.3 He was the son of Charles Cornwallis, 4th Baron Cornwallis of Eye and Lady Charlotte Butler.1 He was baptised on 11 March 1712 at St. James, Westminster, London, England.3 He married Caroline Townshend, daughter of Hon. William Townshend and Henrietta Powlett.4 He died on 17 March 1783 at age 71.1 He was buried at Lambeth Chapel, Lambeth, London, EnglandG.1
He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England.5 He was educated at Christ’s College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.5 He held the office of Bishop of Lichfield and Coventry between 1750 and 1768.5 He held the office of Archbishop of Canterbury between 1768 and 1783.1
