     Isabella Christina Campbell married Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt., son of John Gordon and Caroline Tulk, on 24 September 1857.¹ She died on 18 August 1904.¹
     From 24 September 1857, her married name became Gordon.

     John Archibald Gordon was born on 27 May 1860.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt. and Isabella Christina Campbell.² He died on 25 September 1876 at age 16, unmarried.¹

     Sir Robert Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 8th Bt. was born on 17 April 1862.¹ He was the son of Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt. and Isabella Christina Campbell.² He married Elizabeth Ursula Maitland Ware, daughter of Reverend John Maitland Ware, on 28 September 1898.¹ He died on 30 August 1939 at age 77.¹
     He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Gordon, of Earlston and Afton, co. Kirkcudbright [N.S., 1706] on 2 July 1911.¹

     Caroline Isabella Gordon was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt. and Isabella Christina Campbell.² She married Louis Leplastrier in 1888.¹ She died in July 1949.¹
     From 1888, her married name became Leplastrier.

     Louis Leplastrier married Caroline Isabella Gordon, daughter of Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt. and Isabella Christina Campbell, in 1888.¹ He died in July 1932.¹

     Amy Lucie Gordon was the daughter of Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt. and Isabella Christina Campbell.² She died on 25 May 1942, unmarried.¹

     Elizabeth Ursula Maitland Ware was the daughter of Reverend John Maitland Ware.² She married Sir Robert Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 8th Bt., son of Sir Charles Edward Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 7th Bt. and Isabella Christina Campbell, on 28 September 1898.¹ She died on 17 November 1954.¹
     From 28 September 1898, her married name became Gordon.

     Sir John Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 9th Bt. was born on 4 January 1901.¹ He was the son of Sir Robert Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 8th Bt. and Elizabeth Ursula Maitland Ware.² He married Marion Wright, daughter of James B. Wright, on 26 September 1928.¹ He died in 1982.¹
     He graduated from Sydney University, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G, with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.)¹ He was Engineer in Charge of New South Wales Government – between 1928 and 1961.¹ He succeeded as the 9th Baronet Gordon, of Earlston and Afton, co. Kirkcudbright [N.S., 1706] on 30 August 1939.¹ He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He was recognised by Lord Lyon King of Arms, and matriculated his arms at the Lyons Court on 7 October 1960.¹

     James B. Wright lived at Neutral Bay, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹
