     Sir Robert James Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 10th Bt. was born on 17 August 1932.² He is the son of Sir John Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 9th Bt. and Marion Wright.² He married Helen Julia Weston Perry, daughter of John Weston Perry, in 1976.²
     He was educated at Barker College, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.² He was educated at North Sydney Boys’ School, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia^G.² He was educated at Wagga Agricultural College, New South Wales, Australia^G, Diploma of Agriculture.² He was a farmer in 1958.² He succeeded as the 10th Baronet Gordon, of Earlston and Afton, co. Kirkcudbright [N.S., 1706] in 1982.¹ He is probably next in remainder to Viscountcy of Kenmure and Lordship of Lochinvar (dormant.² ) He lived in 2003 at Earlstoun, Guyra, New South Wales, Australia^G.²

     Timothy Raymond Harry Savill is the son of Lionel Savill.¹ He married Ann Gordon, daughter of Sir John Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 9th Bt. and Marion Wright, on 5 September 1953.¹
     He lived in 2003 at 183 Raglan Street, Balmoral Beach, New South Wales, Australia^G.¹

     Ann Gordon was born on 8 July 1929.¹ She was the daughter of Sir John Charles Gordon of Earlston and Afton, 9th Bt. and Marion Wright.² She married Timothy Raymond Harry Savill, son of Lionel Savill, on 5 September 1953.¹ She died in 1992.¹
