     David Gordon is the son of Sir Alexander Gordon of Culvennan and Grace Dalrymple.² He married Agnes Hyslop, daughter of William Hyslop of Lochend.¹

     Agnes Hyslop is the daughter of William Hyslop of Lochend.² She married David Gordon, son of Sir Alexander Gordon of Culvennan and Grace Dalrymple.¹
     Her married name became Gordon.

     William Gordon was born on 17 August 1800.¹ He was the son of David Gordon and Agnes Hyslop.² He married Agnes Marion Hyslop, daughter of John Hyslop of Lochend, on 17 August 1825.¹ He died on 27 January 1858 at age 57.¹
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)¹ He lived at Culvennan, Scotland^G.¹

     Agnes Marion Hyslop was the daughter of John Hyslop of Lochend.² She married William Gordon, son of David Gordon and Agnes Hyslop, on 17 August 1825.¹ She died on 23 May 1853.¹
     From 17 August 1825, her married name became Gordon.

     Wendy Ann Cheesman married Norman Robert Foster, Baron Foster of Thames Bank, son of Robert Foster and Lillian Smith, in 1964.¹ She died in 1989.¹
     From 1964, her married name became Foster.¹

     Allan Bell of Hillowtown lived at Hillowtown, Kirkcudbrightshire, Scotland^G.¹

     Jane Lawrie Bell was the daughter of Allan Bell of Hillowtown.² She married David Alexander Gordon, son of William Gordon and Agnes Marion Hyslop, on 1 January 1855.¹ She died on 23 April 1927.¹
     From 1 January 1855, her married name became Gordon.

     Maj.-Gen. Lochinvar Alexander Charles Gordon was born on 26 May 1864.¹ He was the son of David Alexander Gordon and Jane Lawrie Bell.² He married Maria Withers, daughter of J. T. Withers, on 30 April 1895.¹ He died on 7 August 1927 at age 63.¹
     He was appointed Companion, Order of the Star of India (C.S.I.)¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)¹ He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He was awarded the Order of the White Eagle of Serbia 3rd Class with swords.¹ He gained the rank of Major-General in the Royal Artillery.¹
