     Eleanor Isabella Slade was born on 11 January 1904.¹ She was the daughter of Marcus Warre Slade and Josephine Isabella Young.² She died on 13 July 1944 at age 40, killed on active service.¹
     She gained the rank of Flight Captian in the Air Transport Auxiliary.¹

     Henry Adolphus Warre Slade was born on 17 January 1869.¹ He was the son of Reverend George FitzClarence Slade and Eleanor Frances Warre.² He married Beatrice Isobel Hilda Gordon, daughter of David Alexander Gordon and Jane Lawrie Bell, on 1 November 1898.¹ He died on 6 January 1936 at age 66.¹
     He lived at Willards Hill, Etchingham, Sussex, England^G.³

     David Alexander Gordon was born on 29 February 1828.² He was the son of William Gordon and Agnes Marion Hyslop.² He married Jane Lawrie Bell, daughter of Allan Bell of Hillowtown, on 1 January 1855.² He died on 28 August 1882 at age 54.²
