     Emma de Laval was born between 1197 and 1198. She was the daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon. She married, firstly, Robert II de Montgomery, Comte d’Alençon, son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d’Alençon and Beatrix de Maine, before 1215. She married, secondly, Mathieu II de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency, son of Bouchard V, seigneur de Montmorency seigneur de d’Ecouen, de Marly et de Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Laurette de Hainaut, before July 1218.¹ She married, thirdly, Jean de Toucy, Seigneur de Toucy et de Saint-Fargeau in 1231. She died on 24 April 1264.²
     From before July 1218, her married name became de Montmorency. From 1231, her married name became de Toucy.

     Robert II de Montgomery, Comte d’Alençon was the son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d’Alençon and Beatrix de Maine. He married, firstly, Jeanne de Preuilly after 1191. He married, secondly, Emma de Laval, daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon, before 1215. He died on 8 September 1217.¹
     He gained the title of Comte d’Alençon.

     Brigadier Sir Jeffrey Lionel Darell, 8th Bt. was born on 2 October 1919.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Guy Marsland Darell and Esmé Violet Stewart-Savile.³ He married Bridget Mary Adair, daughter of Maj.-Gen. Sir Allan Henry Shafto Adair, 6th Bt. and Enid Violet Ida Ward, on 30 June 1953.² He died on 27 February 2013 at age 93.⁴
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, England^G.² He fought in the Second World War.⁵ He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.² He was involved in the Coats Mission (protection of Royal Family in case of invasion) between 1940 and 1941.² He lived in 1942 Aide-de-Camp to the General-Officer-in-Charge of Southern Command.³ He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) in 1945.² He gained the rank of Brigade Major between 1951 and 1953 in the Guards Brigade.² He was Brigadier of the 1st Battalion, Coldstream Guards between 1957 and 1959.³ He succeeded as the 8th Baronet Darell, of Ancaster House, Richmond Hill, Surrey [G.B., 1795] on 10 February 1959.³ He was the College Commander between 1961 and 1964 at Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England^G.³ He was Colonel of the Coldsteam Guards and Reigmental District between 1964 and 1965.³ He was Brigadier of the 56 Infantry (London) Brigade, Territorial Army between 1965 and 1968.³ He was Commandant between 1970 and 1973 at Mons Officer Cadet School^G.³ He held the office of Aide-de-Camp to HM Queen Elizabeth II between 1973 and 1974.³ He held the office of High Sheriff of Norfolk in 1985.³ He lived in 2003 at Denton Lodge, Harleston, Norfolk, England^G.²

     Jeanne de Preuilly married Robert II de Montgomery, Comte d’Alençon, son of Jean III de Ponthieu, Comte d’Alençon and Beatrix de Maine, after 1191.

     Mathieu II de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency was born in 1174.¹ He was the son of Bouchard V, seigneur de Montmorency seigneur de d’Ecouen, de Marly et de Conflans-Sainte-Honorine and Laurette de Hainaut.^2,1 He married, firstly, Gertrude de Soissons, daughter of Raoul de Soissons and Alix de Dreux, in 1193.¹ He married, secondly, Emma de Laval, daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon, before July 1218.¹ He died on 24 November 1230.¹
     He was Constable of France.²

     Jean de Toucy, Seigneur de Toucy et de Saint-Fargeau was born in 1208.¹ He married Emma de Laval, daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon, in 1231. He died in 1250 at Mansourah, Egypt.¹

     Isabelle de Laval was the daughter of Guy V de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Havoise de Craon. She married Bouchard VI, seigneur de Montmorency seigneur de d’Ecouen, de Marly et de Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, son of Mathieu II de Montmorency, Seigneur de Montmorency and Gertrude de Soissons, before August 1220. She died in 1244.¹

     Cécile de Laval is the daughter of Guy IV de Laval, Seigneur de Laval and Agatha (?) She married Aymery VII de Thouars, Vicomte de Thouars in 1175.¹
     She was also known as Sibylle de Laval.¹

     Emily Mary Astor was born in 1980.¹ She is the daughter of John Richard Astor and Katherine Mary Darell.¹
