     Andrew Mitchell Gibson was born on 25 June 1784.1 He was the son of William Gibson and Mary Cecilia Balfour.2 He married Barbara Thomson, daughter of Captain Robert Thomson, on 2 December 1818.1 He died on 1 February 1852 at age 67.1
     He was Naval Service in the Honourable East India Company Service.1
