     Sarah Francesca Merriel Garthwaite was born on 17 August 1960.¹ She was the daughter of Sir William Francis Cuthbert Garthwaite, 2nd Bt. and Patricia Merriel d‘Ambrumenil.² She died on 24 June 1964 at age 3.¹

     Edith Christine Cooper was born circa 1923.² She was the daughter of Jack H. Cooper.³ She married Alexander Leopold Ivor George Canning, 5th Baron Garvagh, son of Leopold Ernest Stratford George Canning, 4th Baron Garvagh and Dora Parker, on 12 July 1947.¹ She and Alexander Leopold Ivor George Canning, 5th Baron Garvagh were divorced in 1974.¹ She died on 29 October 2013 at The Abbey, Amesbury, Wiltshire, England.²
     From 12 July 1947, her married name became Canning.¹ After her marriage, Edith Christine Cooper was styled as Baroness Garvagh on 16 July 1956.

     Spencer George Stratford de Redcliffe Canning, 6th Baron Garvagh was born on 12 February 1953.¹ He is the son of Alexander Leopold Ivor George Canning, 5th Baron Garvagh and Edith Christine Cooper.² He married, firstly, Julia Margery Morrison Bye, daughter of Colonel Francis Clifford Edward Bye, on 14 July 1979.¹ He married, secondly, Catherine Judith Goode on 12 June 2014.³
     He was educated at Cranleigh School, Cranleigh, Surrey, England^G.¹ He graduated from Central London Polytechnic, London, England^G, in 1977 with a Surveying Diploma.¹ He lived in 2003 at 1 Church Lane, Little Bedwyn, Wiltshire, England^G.¹ He succeeded as the 6th Baron Garvagh, of Garvagh, co. Londonderry [I., 1818] on 31 October 2013.

     Colonel Francis Clifford Edward Bye lived at Twickenham, London, England^G.¹

     Julia Margery Morrison Bye was born circa 1954.² She was the daughter of Colonel Francis Clifford Edward Bye.³ She married Spencer George Stratford de Redcliffe Canning, 6th Baron Garvagh, son of Alexander Leopold Ivor George Canning, 5th Baron Garvagh and Edith Christine Cooper, on 14 July 1979.¹ She died on 6 May 2009, killed while walking across a public rail crossing.⁴
     From 14 July 1979, her married name became Canning.
