     Hon. Caroline Isabella Monckton was the daughter of William George Monckton, 5th Viscount Galway and Catherine Elizabeth Handfield.² She married Reverend Thomas John Monson, son of Rev. Hon. Thomas John Monson and Sarah Wyvill, on 25 March 1856.¹ She died on 9 April 1922.¹
     From 25 March 1856, her married name became Monson.

     Reverend Thomas John Monson was born on 28 April 1825.² He was the son of Rev. Hon. Thomas John Monson and Sarah Wyvill.² He married Hon. Caroline Isabella Monckton, daughter of William George Monckton, 5th Viscount Galway and Catherine Elizabeth Handfield, on 25 March 1856.¹ He died on 23 July 1887 at age 62.²
     He was Rector at Kirby-under-Dale, Yorkshire, England.² He held the office of Canon of York.²

     Sir David Gamble, 5th Bt. was born on 5 June 1933.² He was the son of Sir David Arthur Josias Gamble, 4th Bt. and Elinor Mary Cole.² He married Dawn Adrienne Gittins, daughter of P/O David Hugh Gittins, in 1956.² He died in 1984.²
     He was educated at Shrewsbury School, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England^G.² He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.² He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Gamble, of Windlehurst, St. Helens, co. Lancaster [U.K., 1897] in 1982.²

     He migrated to Ireland from Scotland for ‘conscience sake’ (probably Presbyterianism) during the reign of King James VI.¹ Josias Gamble lived at Lisbellaw, County Fermanagh, Ireland^G.¹

     David Gamble was born in 1679.¹ He was the son of Josias Gamble.² He married Magdalen Hoapper.¹ He died in 1763.¹
     He lived at Graan^G.¹

     Magdalen Hoapper married David Gamble, son of Josias Gamble.¹
     Her married name became Gamble.

     David Gamble is the son of David Gamble and Magdalen Hoapper.²

     Josias Christopher Gamble was born in August 1778.¹ He was the son of David Gamble.² He married Hannah Gower on 16 September 1820.¹ He died on 27 January 1848 at age 69.¹
     He graduated from Glasgow University, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland^G, in 1797 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹ He also had three daughters, who died young.¹

     Hannah Gower married Josias Christopher Gamble, son of David Gamble, on 16 September 1820.¹ She died on 16 December 1852.¹
     From 16 September 1820, her married name became Gamble.

     Sir David Gamble, 1st Bt. was born on 2 February 1823.¹ He was the son of Josias Christopher Gamble and Hannah Gower.² He married Elizabeth Haddock, daughter of Thomas Haddock, on 26 January 1847.¹ He died on 4 February 1907 at age 84.²
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for the Lancashire Borough of St. Helens.¹ He held the office of Mayor of St. Helens between 1868 and 1870.² He held the office of Mayor of St. Helens between 1882 and 1883.¹ He held the office of Mayor of St. Helens between 1886 and 1887.¹ He gained the rank of Honorary Colonel in the 2nd Volunteer Battalion ,(Prince of Wales’s Volunteers) South Lancashire Regiment.¹ He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.)¹ He was created 1st Baronet Gamble, of Windlehurst, St. Helens, co. Lancaster [U.K.] on 31 August 1897.¹ He was awarded the Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Officers’ Decoration (V.D.)¹ He lived at Windlehurst, Lancashire, England^G.¹
