     Ela Talvas was the daughter of William Talvas, Comte de Ponthieu.2 She married, firstly, William III de Warenne, 3rd Earl of Surrey, son of William II de Warenne, 2nd Earl of Surrey and Elizabeth de Vermandois.3 She married, secondly, Patrick de Salisbury, 1st Earl of Salisbury, son of Walter de Salisbury and Sybil de Chaworth.1 She died on 10 October 1174.1

     Joseph Francis Vaughan Gibbs was born on 8 December 1887.1 He was the son of Reverend George Henry Gibbs and Mildred Mordaunt.1 He married Hon. Dorothy Annesley, daughter of Arthur Annesley, 11th Viscount of Valentia and Laura Sarah Webb, on 27 July 1921.1 He died on 4 March 1961 at age 73.1
     He was educated at Haileybury College, Haileybury, Hertfordshire, EnglandG.1 He was a farmer between 1920 and 1929 at South AfricaG.1 He gained the rank of Flying Officer in 1943.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1943 and 1945.1
