     Archibald Williamson, 1st Baron Forres was born on 13 September 1860.¹ He was the son of Stephen Williamson and Annie Guthrie.² He married, firstly, Caroline Maria Hayne, daughter of James Charles Hayne, on 7 June 1887.¹ He married, secondly, Hon. Agnes Freda Herschell, daughter of Farrar Herschell, 1st Baron Herschell of the City of Durban and Agnes Adela Porcher, on 27 November 1912.² He died on 29 October 1931 at age 71.²
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Elgin and Nairn between 1906 and 1918.¹ He was chairman of Central Argentine Railway and Lobitos Oilfields.¹ He was partner of Balfour, Williamson & Company, merchants.¹ He succeeded as the 1st Baronet Williamson, of Glenogil, co. Forfar [U.K.] on 29 July 1909.¹ He held the office of Finance Secretary, War Office.¹ He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) in 1918.¹ He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Liberal) for Moray and Nairn between 1918 and 1922.¹ He was Member of the Army Council between 1919 and 1921.¹ He was created 1st Baron Forres, of Glenogil, co. Forfar [U.K.] on 19 June 1922.¹

     Thomas Guthrie Williamson was born on 11 April 1863.¹ He was the son of Stephen Williamson and Annie Guthrie.² He married Vera Braun, daughter of Francis Caesar Braun, on 6 January 1894.¹ He died on 14 November 1917 at age 54.¹

     Vera Braun was the daughter of Francis Caesar Braun.² She married, firstly, Thomas Guthrie Williamson, son of Stephen Williamson and Annie Guthrie, on 6 January 1894.¹ She married, secondly, John Alfred Turner on 8 March 1919.¹ She died on 23 July 1924.¹
     From 6 January 1894, her married name became Williamson. From 8 March 1919, her married name became Turner.¹
