Agnes Maria Fairlie was born on 3 November 1801 at Calcutta, Bengal, India.2 She was the daughter of William Fairlie and Margaret Ogilvy.1 She married James Fairlie of Holms, son of James Fairlie and Sarah Bell, on 8 April 1821 at Galston, Ayrshire, Scotland.2 She died on 22 May 1868 at age 66 at Holmes House, Ayrshire, Scotland.2
