     Laura Beatrice Douglas-Hamilton was born on 10 May 1851 at Romford, Essex, England^G.¹ She was the daughter of Alfred Douglas-Hamilton and Adelaide Black.¹ She died in 1926 at Chelsea, London, England^G.¹

     Madeline Annie Pamela Pelly was born on 11 February 1895.¹ She was the daughter of Sir Harold Pelly, 4th Bt. and Anna Maria Poore.² She married Colonel Sir John Victor Elliott Lees, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Elliott Lees, 1st Bt. and Florence Keith, on 30 December 1915.¹ She died on 28 July 1967 at age 72.¹
     From 30 December 1915, her married name became Lees. She was producer of Lytchett Minster Gospel Films.²
