Henry Hinde Pelly was born on 6 June 1744.2 He was the son of John Pelly and Elizabeth Hinde.2 He married Sally Hitchen, daughter of Captain John Hitchen, on 13 July 1776.2 He died on 23 February 1818 at age 73.2
