     Hilda Winifred D’Arcy Hutton is the daughter of John Timothy D’Arcy Hutton.² She married Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon, son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case, on 14 October 1897.¹ She and Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon were divorced.¹
     From 14 October 1897, her married name became Gordon.

     Hermione Harriet Gordon was born on 11 September 1898.¹ She is the daughter of Edward Hyde Hamilton Gordon and Hilda Winifred D’Arcy Hutton.²

     William Alexander Gordon was born on 9 May 1869.¹ He was the son of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case.² He died on 18 May 1936 at age 67.¹
     He was educated at King’s School, Canterbury, Kent, England^G.¹ He was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G.¹ He was Aide-de-Camp in 1900.¹ He fought in the Boer War between 1900 and 1901.¹ He was Private Secretary to the Governor of the Cape of Good Hope in 1905.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.) in 1909.¹ He gained the rank of Colonel War 1900 in the Worcestershire Militia.¹ He fought in the First World War.¹ He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1916.¹ He was appointed Companion, Order of the Indian Empire (C.I.E.) in 1919.¹

     Mabel Antoinette Gordon is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. George Hamilton Gordon and Blanche Emma Beatrice Case.² She married Reverend Charles William Bennett on 20 April 1909.¹
     From 20 April 1909, her married name became Bennett.

     Vice-Admiral William Elrington Gordon was born on 20 May 1831.¹ He was the son of Robert Cumming Hamilton Gordon and Frances Freer.² He married Emily Barbara Lowndes, daughter of Sir Edward Chaddock Lowndes, on 19 October 1865.¹ He died on 7 July 1897 at age 66.¹
     He was commissioned in 1844, in the service of the Royal Navy.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1854.¹ He fought in the Crimean War, in the Baltic.¹ He fought in the China War in 1860.¹ He gained the rank of Rear-Admiral in 1885.¹ He was Superintendent of Portsmouth Dockyard between 1888 and 1891.¹

     Emily Barbara Lowndes is the daughter of Sir Edward Chaddock Lowndes.² She married Vice-Admiral William Elrington Gordon, son of Robert Cumming Hamilton Gordon and Frances Freer, on 19 October 1865.¹
     She was Queen’s Counsel (Q.C.)¹ She was Privy Counsellor (P.C.)¹ From 19 October 1865, her married name became Gordon. She graduated in 1937 with a Master of Arts (M.A.) (see BLG LYSLEY (formerly LOWNDES) of Castle Combe.)¹

     Reverend William Hamilton Gordon was born on 22 August 1866.¹ He was the son of Vice-Admiral William Elrington Gordon and Emily Barbara Lowndes.² He married Anna Margaret Holloway on 10 April 1895.¹ He died on 31 May 1935 at age 68.¹
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, England^G.¹ He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England^G, in 1892 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)¹

     Anna Margaret Holloway married Reverend William Hamilton Gordon, son of Vice-Admiral William Elrington Gordon and Emily Barbara Lowndes, on 10 April 1895.¹
     From 10 April 1895, her married name became Gordon.
