Rosemary Elton was born on 22 January 1925.1 She was the daughter of Godfrey Elton, 1st Baron Elton and Dedi Hartmann.2 She married, firstly, William Yates, son of William Yates, on 14 September 1946.1 She and William Yates were divorced in 1955.1 She married, secondly, David Charles Attlee, son of Wilfred Henry Waller Attlee and Emily Bridget Maconochie, on 10 December 1955.1 She died on 2 June 2017 at age 92.3
     She was also known as Rosemary Goodrich.4 From 14 September 1946, her married name became Yates. From 10 December 1955, her married name became Attlee.4 She lived in 2003 at Brockley House, Leintwardine, Craven Arms, Shropshire, EnglandG.1

     William Yates was born on 15 September 1921.2 He was the son of William Yates.3 He married, firstly, Hon. Rosemary Elton, daughter of Godfrey Elton, 1st Baron Elton and Dedi Hartmann, on 14 September 1946.1 He and Hon. Rosemary Elton were divorced in 1955.1 He married, secondly, Camilla Tennant, daughter of Ernest William Dalrymple Tennant and Eleonora Fiaschi, on 25 April 1957.3 He died on 18 April 2010 at age 88.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Queen’s Bays.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) (Conservative) for Wrekin between 1955 and 1966.3 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) [Victoria] between 1975 and 1980, for Holt.3
