     Kathleen Mary Reid was born on 19 June 1914 at Auckland, New Zealand^G.¹ She was the daughter of Alexander Reid and Cathleen Jane Lambert.¹ She married Hartley George Matters in 1945 at Australia^G.¹ She died on 25 February 1997 at age 82 at Adelaide, South Australia, Australia^G.¹
     From 1945, her married name became Matters.¹

     Thomas Wyndham was born circa 1510.¹ He was the son of Sir Thomas Wyndham and Elizabeth Wentworth.² He died in 1553, in the Bight of Benin from a fever.¹
     Between 1536 and 1540 he apparently did military service in Ireland.¹ In 1540 he was granted the former monastery lands of Chicksand, Bedfordshire.¹ In 1544 he commanded the West Country-based ships against Scots, French and Spaniards.¹ He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in 1547 in the of a fleet against Scotland.¹ He lived at Wigton, Yorkshire, England^G.¹
