Sir Reginald Aylmer Ranfurly Plunkett-Ernle-Erle-Drax and Kathleen Chalmers, on 24 May 1978.1 He died on 3 December 1998 at age 86.1
He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of St. Michael and St. George (K.C.M.G.) in 1963.1 He held the office of Belgian Ambassador to Switzerland between 1966 and 1968.2 He held the office of Belgian Ambassador to France between 1968 and 1973.2 He held the office of Belgain Ambassador to the U.K. between 1973 and 1976.1 He was awarded the Grand Officer, Order of Leopold of Belgium.1
