     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, IrelandG, in 1897 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Chaplain between 1900 and 1916 in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Rathin Island, County Antrim, IrelandG.1
